Radio frequency relay module with Softswitch technology, switches up to 16 A general purpose, 120/277 V, plenum rated, compatible with RA2 Select, RadioRA 2, and HomeWorks

Radio frequency relay module with patented Lutron Softswitch technology, capable of switching up to 16 A of general-purpose loads based on information provided by RA2 Select, RadioRA 2, and HomeWorks systems. Softswitch technology prevents arcing on relay contacts, extending product life. It uses 434 MHz Clear Connect radio frequency with a 9 m range from system repeaters. It mounts to an electrical junction box through a standard 21 mm (1/2 inch) trade size knockout and is plenum-rated in accordance with NEC 2011 300.22(C)(3). It handles incandescent, MLV, ELV, resistive, inductive, and magnetic or electronic fluorescent loads, as well as motors up to 0.5 HP at 120 V~ or 1.5 HP at 277 V~.
