Maintenance

Solar panels are equipment that require very little or no maintenance. It is not recommended to open the diode box; these are sealed. If it is strictly necessary to do so, follow these steps:

Using a fine-tipped flathead screwdriver, pry the tips of the plastic clips in the opposite direction and carefully remove the cover from top to bottom as shown in the video.

Warranty recommendations and comments
  • Any claim for this product must be made within the warranty period with the original invoice

  • Do not install in a location where any object casts a shadow at any point during the day; this is considered improper installation and may be grounds for voiding the warranty
  • Do not mix modules of different power ratings on the same controller or inverter; this is considered improper installation and may be grounds for voiding the warranty
Additional recommendations

It is recommended to use the EP-MC4 crimping tool when attaching EPL01 connectors to the cable that will be used to connect your module to the inverter or controller

Note: Electrical specifications are indicated under an irradiance of 1000 W/m² and a temperature of 25 ºC

Installation note:

To avoid damage to the module cable connection, you must use cable ties (plastic zip ties) on the cable during installation so that they do not remain loose; the weight of the cable and the wind can damage the diode box
