The PM150-CO2 is a low-maintenance, rechargeable single-gas monitor that protects workers and students by providing Carbon Dioxide exposure detection in many applications, such as school classrooms, boardrooms, and enclosed spaces. The PM150-CO2 continuously monitors ambient air conditions and provides real-time gas concentrations on an easy-to-read LCD screen. A three-level alarm system warns the user of the presence of dangerous carbon dioxide levels with visual and vibrating alarms. The unit's low, high, and alarm threshold levels 1 and 2 can be adjusted using software and the mini USB charger.
Due to government mandates in some regions, the installation of Carbon Dioxide detectors or meters is being required in enclosed spaces that require ventilation. In such locations, like classrooms and offices, lack of sufficient ventilation combined with the concentration of people can increase gas levels, lower air quality, and consequently increase the risk of contracting the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus.
