Description
Industrial-grade Ethernet patch cords are manufactured using Category 6A twisted-pair cable for UTP or STP installations. Each cable is pre-terminated with Category 6A industrial plugs at each end that follow the T568B standard. They include IP65/IP67 rated industrial connectors at both ends or an IP65/IP67 rated industrial connector at one end and an IP20 rated RJ45 connector at the other. Tethered caps must be included on industrial connectors to protect connectivity in unconnected conditions. An IP65/IP67 rating must be achieved when mated with an IP65/IP67 and NEMA UL Type 12 industrial-grade connector.
