Fiber plates contain simplex or duplex fiber optic adapters compatible with TCIS/FOCIS and meet or exceed TIA/EIA-568-C.3 requirements. The housing colors of the LC and SC adapters follow the color identification scheme suggested by TIA/EIA-568-C.3. Multimedia modular panels allow for installation customization for applications requiring the integration of fiber optic and copper cabling.

Applications
Opticom® Fiber Adapter Plates (FAPs) are used with rack and wall mount enclosures, fiber optic patch panels, and Opticom® Zero RU fiber adapter panel brackets to deploy medium to high-density fiber optic network applications as specified in the TIA 942 data center cabling standard for cross-connections in main distribution, horizontal distribution, and equipment distribution areas.
Opticom® fiber adapter panels snap quickly into patch panels and enclosures for easy network deployment or moves, adds, and changes. Opticom® Zero RU fiber adapter panel brackets mount directly to the rack to provide quick placement, connection, and deployment of fiber adapter panels without occupying any RU space.
