Description

The Category 6A UTP field-terminated RJ45 connector is an easy-to-terminate plug for 4-pair unshielded twisted pair cable. By providing Category 6A performance, it is compatible with Category 5e and 6 systems on 22 to 26 AWG conductors. The plug is available in straight and angled versions, and uses the TG termination tool to optimize performance and properly maintain cable geometry.

  • Cat6A/Class EA performance: exceeds the minimum performance requirements of ANSI/TIA 568-C.2 Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA for two field-terminated connections. Exceeds TIA proposed requirements for MPTL testing with two maximum field-terminated connections.
  • Cable Compatibility: compatible with 4-pair, 22 to 26 AWG solid or stranded unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable, with a conductor diameter of 1.52 mm and an overall cable diameter of 5.08 to 8.38 mm.
