Description
The RBPOE is a low-cost passive PoE unit used to power devices via a Fast Ethernet port. Simply connect your power supply to the injector and then use an Ethernet cable to connect the injector to the RouterBoard device. It helps reduce the number of cables leading to the tower.
The RBPOE unit can be used on equipment that supports 10-28V PoE; the input must be at least 18V to account for any losses in the cables.
Installation notes
- Verify a minimum input voltage of 18V to compensate for voltage drops in wiring
- Ensure a secure connection between the PoE injector and the RouterBoard device
- Keep in a dry environment with adequate operating temperature
