ARGOFET Battery Isolators – Intelligent and Loss-Free Charging

Victron Energy's ARGOFET battery isolators allow for the simultaneous charging of multiple batteries from a single alternator or battery charger, without connecting the batteries together. This ensures that the service battery and the starter battery remain isolated, preventing unwanted discharges and improving the efficiency of the electrical system.

Key Advantages of ARGOFET Isolators

  • Near-zero voltage loss – Unlike traditional diode isolators, ARGOFET units reduce voltage drop to less than 0.02 V at low currents and only 0.1 V at higher loads.
  • Efficient and safe charging – Keeps each battery independent, preventing a discharge in one from affecting the others.
  • Alternator compatibility – Includes a special power input to ensure the alternator functions correctly.
  • Robust and reliable design – With M8 bolts and optimized dimensions for easy installation.

Available Models

  • Argofet 100-2 – Up to 100A, ideal for systems with 2 batteries.
  • Argofet 100-3 – Same performance, but with capacity for 3 batteries.
  • Argofet 200-2 – Handles up to 200A for more demanding systems with 2 batteries.
  • Argofet 200-3 – The most powerful option, allowing the connection of 3 batteries with 200A capacity.

Optimize Your Energy System with Victron Energy

Thanks to FET technology, ARGOFET isolators eliminate the voltage losses associated with traditional diodes, improving charging performance without needing to increase the alternator output.

For proper installation, it is recommended to use cables of the appropriate cross-section and as short as possible, minimizing any voltage drop in the system.
