System Sensor’s L-Series 2-wire horn strobes are loaded with features that increase application versatility, simplify installation, and maximize profits with lower current draw and a modern aesthetic. LED lighting technology offers significantly lower current draw compared to older xenon bulbs across the entire candela range. This improves design flexibility for Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs), while reducing power supply requirements, allowing for simpler and more economical installations.

All devices feature plug-in designs with minimal back-box intrusion, which makes for fast, foolproof installations that virtually eliminate costly and time-consuming errors. To further simplify installation and protect devices from damage during construction, the L-Series utilizes a universal mounting plate for all models with a built-in shorting spring, allowing installers to test wiring continuity before installing the device. Installers can also easily adapt devices to meet a wide range of application requirements using field-selectable candela settings, automatic selection of 16 to 24 V operation, and a rotary switch for horn tones with two volume options.

Additionally, the System Sensor L-Series with LED notification appliances offers a new diagnostic test point feature that allows for measuring device voltage with a digital voltage meter (DVM) without removing the appliance from the wall or ceiling. DVM test points are discreetly located on the face of the notification appliance, allowing for faster troubleshooting and end-of-line (EOL) voltage checks while greatly reducing the risk of device misplacement or damage during troubleshooting.
