The SST3-MV-SB is an electronic siren capable of producing three different high-decibel tones from the same unit.

The SST3-MV-SB model features internal amplification and the circuitry required to produce three different tones. The user activates each tone (Wail, Yelp, or Horn) with dry contacts from a remote point.

The NEMA 4R enclosure is molded from impact-resistant plastic, making it UV-resistant and ideal for indoor or outdoor use. The omnidirectional swivel mount system allows the output to be aimed anywhere within a 180-degree half-sphere.

The SST3-MV-SB model can be used as a high-performance standalone audible warning device in any application where multiple tones are needed, but voice paging is not required.

Typical applications include emergency warning, start and dismissal, fire alarm, general alarm, and evacuation.

Detailed features

The SST3-MV-SB model is an electronic siren capable of emitting three different high-decibel tones from the same unit. This model can be used as a high-output, standalone audible warning device in any environment where multiple tones are needed, but voice paging is not required. The user activates each tone (WAIL, YELP, HORN) with dry contacts from a remote point, or the unit can be operated by switching power with a fixed tone selection. The robust speaker cone and projector are manufactured from spun aluminum, and the integrated circuitry is housed in a die-cast aluminum enclosure. The base of the unit contains two 1/2-inch conduit openings. The unique shape of the projector provides a 60° sound dispersion. The projector is held in position by a Teflon-coated locking ring that can be rotated 180° to obtain the desired sound distribution. All surfaces are sealed with powder-coat paint. Dust and moisture-proof gaskets provide Type 4X protection against the elements. Typical applications include emergency warnings, shift start and end, general alarm, and evacuation.
