Victron Energy's SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers represent the latest generation in solar regulation technology for off-grid photovoltaic systems. These devices incorporate ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) that improves energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers, especially under cloudy sky conditions. They feature built-in Bluetooth Smart for wireless configuration, control, and updates, as well as a VE.Direct interface for wired connection to monitoring systems. The intelligent load output includes deep discharge protection and a BatteryLife algorithm that automatically manages charge cycles to extend the service life of lead-acid batteries.
