Description
LPSNMP3P is an optional management add-on for the specific RT3P series UPS. By inserting the card into the UPS's SNMP/HTTP network slot, users can remotely monitor and control devices in a back office, server room, or data center using standard web browsers, a Network Management System (NMS), or a command line interface (SSH and Telnet) on their network.
They can also perform management tasks, including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and reboots. When a power issue occurs, administrators will be notified immediately via email, SNMP traps, and SMS. By using the auto-shutdown software, servers and workstations will remain protected against data loss due to a power outage.
The event log records the operational history of the UPS. With its hot-swappable capability, the system can remain powered on for the connected equipment while service personnel perform installation or replacement on-site. With its multi-language interface, users can choose their preferred language for easy management.
