Description
LPSNMP is an optional management add-on for specific CyberPower UPS series. By inserting the card into the SNMP/HTTP network slot of the UPS, users can remotely monitor and control devices in a back office, server room, or data center using standard web browsers, Network Management Systems (NMS), or command-line interfaces (SSH and Telnet) on their network.
They can also perform management tasks, including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and reboots. When a power issue occurs, administrators will be notified immediately via email, SNMP traps, and SMS. By using auto-shutdown software, servers and workstations remain protected against data loss due to power outages.
The event log records the operational history of the UPS. With its hot-swappable capability, the system can remain powered on for connected equipment while service personnel perform on-site installation or replacement. With its multi-language interface, users can choose their preferred language for easy management.
