Key Technical Notes
- Ensure installation is performed by a trained professional
- Schedule a maintenance plan for checking guy wire tension and adjusting hardware
- Do not install solar panels at a height greater than 6 meters. Check compatibility between solar cells and mounts
- A stress analysis must be performed when an eccentric load is placed on the tower. This can cause excessive torsion and bending in the tower, leading to structural failure
- All dish antennas must include a radome as an accessory to reduce wind drag
- The use of dishes larger than 2 feet (60 cm) in diameter on this tower is not recommended (check with engineering)
- The stated weight is for equipment without accessories or packaging
- Towers can be purchased in complete kits VIEW TOWER KITS
Warning
- Hot-dip galvanizing is recommended for humid areas, salt-mist environments, and/or corrosion, and industrial parks with gas release VIEW AREA MAP
- The tower must be painted in accordance with (at least) the CFE D8500-02 specification (7 symmetrical alternating orange and white stripes, starting and ending with orange)
- It must include night lighting, at least two fixtures, one in the middle and one at the top
- Local municipal regulations must be consulted to ensure correct and legal tower installation
- We recommend at all times following the guy wire installation guidelines: VIEW GUY WIRE INSTALLATION DIAGRAM
