Applications

This conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables, for use in electrical, industrial, or residential installations. It is suitable for underground electrical systems, encased in concrete, or directly buried, or in systems exposed to the weather to house and protect cables that conduct electrical energy, for use in shopping centers, industrial warehouses, etc.

Schedule 40 conduit is manufactured using a rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031.

The joining of these pipes is carried out through the direct interconnection of a thermoformed bell integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion. Its solvent-weld joining system forms a homogeneous assembly that develops maximum strength and an airtight seal.

This pipe fully complies with the UL 651 specification standard, as attested by its certification for electrical installations operating at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.

Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product, as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards and, thanks to its dielectric strength, is a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
