Light-duty conduit is specially designed for routing electrical cables in applications such as electrical, industrial, residential, and voice and data installations in homes, commercial spaces, etc. It is suitable for installations in construction projects where it will be encased in concrete.
The light-duty conduit is made from an unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound with a cell classification of 12454 in accordance with NMX-E-031.
The light-duty conduit is manufactured in accordance with the current NMX-E-012-SCFI standard.
These pipes are joined by means of direct interconnection using a thermoformed socket integrated into the pipe, or by means of an injected PVC coupling that facilitates insertion.
Compliance with all of the above fully guarantees the proper functioning of the product as well as its service life. It meets the highest safety standards, and thanks to its dielectric strength, it acts as a good insulator in installations, preventing short circuits and/or electrical potential leakage from the cable to the conduit.
